these corporations that are fucking destroying the earth environmentally aren’t ignorant to what they’re doing, they’re not stupid. they just want us to fucking die.
currently theres a climate change lawsuit and exxon mobile who has been playing like it’s ignorant of climate change and really not doing anything bad
Though I hardly fucking doubt just taking Exxon’s money in a lawsuit will do anything. Taking these corporations money doesn’t stop them from continuing to destroy the fucking planet
also according to the article the lawsuit is very roundabout, since essentially what they’re suing for is “lying to investors about potential regulations that could come into play based on them privately knowing what they were doing but publicly denying it.”
Because our system is so fucked that you can’t even successfully bring someone to court over a little thing like “actively destroying our ecosystem, being one of the biggest players in a mass extinction event, causing weather extremes that directly kill thousands of people and destroy their homes, and then running an unbelievably large smear campaign against anyone who says this is happening.” Because that’s legal.

I understand that it is to go with the serious themes of the gen, truth vs ideals and the ethics of Pokemon ownership, but it does make Unova one of the least pretty Pokemon regions.
you’re entitled to your opinion, but to say that unova was the “least pretty” region is just… what? the art was amazing and the region was an aesthetic treat. sure, it had areas that weren’t as pretty as others (just as every region does) but overall… i just can’t agree…
Also, Unova had seasons, so we got to see what each area looked like in different parts of the year. Unova was amazing.
